Diane Hoskins

Diane Hoskins joined Crosby Bigelow Fitzgerald Insurance Associates, Inc. in 2003 as the Professional Services Practice Leader.  

Ms. Hoskins' business experience includes:  

CIC/USI (1997-2002), Sole Producer in San Antonio office for professional liability insurance for Architects, Engineers, Environmental Consultants, Accountants and Attorneys; also handled commercial insurance package policies for professional firms.  

DPIC Companies (1990-1997), Senior Underwriter for Architects', Engineers', and Environmental Consultants' professional liability insurance.  In addition to underwriting, Ms. Hoskins also served as an instructor and presenter at the annual producer academy and agents' meetings; company coordinator for the annual RIMS meeting; and underwriting team member for the development, testing and implementation of the company's first nationwide automation system.

San Diego Unified School District (1985-1990).  Ms. Hoskins was attached to the district school counseling department.  Responsibilities included developing and conducting preventative, interactive sessions for K-6 students in a multi-track, year-round school; mediation of disputes between students, parents and staff; conducting home visits; staffing the counseling center; and acting as Child Advocate during investigations of child abuse in conjunction with Child Protective Services.  

Special Areas of Expertise:

Specialist in errors and omissions insurance for professionals.  Ms. Hoskins also reviews professional services contracts for insurability purposes and has conducted numerous risk management and loss prevention seminars for her clients as well as the American Institute of Architects, Professional Engineers in Private Practice, Society of Design Administration, Structural Engineers Association of Texas and Bexar Chapter of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
